Rental Agreement & Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing YYC Storage Bins. These Terms and Conditions outline the rental agreement between YYC Storage Bins ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the customer ("Customer," "you," or "your") for the rental of reusable moving bins and related equipment.

By reserving, accepting delivery of, or using our rental bins, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Rental Agreement

YYC Storage Bins provides reusable plastic moving bins and related rental equipment for temporary use during residential or commercial moves.

The Customer agrees to:

• Use the rental bins responsibly and only for their intended purpose.

• Return all rented items by the agreed-upon return date.

• Return all bins in the same quantity and condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.

• Follow all instructions provided by YYC Storage Bins regarding proper use, stacking, and handling.

Rental periods begin on the scheduled delivery or pickup date and end when all rented items are returned to YYC Bin Rentals.

2. Rental Period & Extensions

Standard rentals include up to 3 days unless otherwise agreed upon.

If additional rental time is required, customers must contact YYC Storage Bins before the rental period expires. Extensions are subject to availability.

Extended rental fees may apply:

$1 per bin per additional day

Failure to request an extension may result in additional late fees.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Credit card

• Other approved payment methods

All applicable taxes and fees of 5% will be displayed during checkout.

A rental reservation is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.

YYC Bin Rentals reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations where payment cannot be verified.

4. Delivery & Pickup

Customers may choose between:

• Customer pickup and return

• Delivery and pickup service (where available)

Customers selecting delivery agree to provide:

• Accurate delivery information

• Safe and accessible placement instructions

• Availability during scheduled delivery and pickup windows

YYC Storage Bins is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate addresses, inaccessible locations, unsafe conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their reservation by contacting YYC Storage Bins.

Cancellation terms:

• Cancellations made more than 12 hours before the rental start date may receive a full refund.

• Cancellations made within 12 hours of the rental date may be subject to a cancellation fee.

• No-shows or cancellations after delivery/pickup has been completed may not be eligible for a refund.

Refund eligibility may depend on preparation costs, delivery arrangements, and availability.

6. Damage, Loss & Replacement Fees

Customers are responsible for all rental items from the time of pickup or delivery until they are returned to YYC Storage Bins.

Normal wear and tear is expected.

The Customer may be charged for:

• Lost bins

• Stolen bins

• Missing lids

• Broken bins

• Excessively damaged equipment

• Damage caused by misuse or improper handling

Replacement charges may apply based on the current replacement cost of the item.

Examples of misuse may include:

• Using bins to store hazardous materials

• Exceeding reasonable weight limits

• Modifying, drilling, cutting, or altering bins

• Leaving bins in unsafe conditions

YYC Storage Bins reserves the right to inspect returned equipment and determine applicable damage charges.

7. Late Returns & Late Fees

Late returns may impact availability for other customers.

If rental items are not returned by the agreed-upon date and no extension has been approved, additional rental charges may apply.

Late fees:

$1 per bin per additional day

Additional charges may apply if late returns prevent another confirmed customer's reservation from being fulfilled.

8. Customer Responsibility & Proper Use

Customers agree to use rental bins safely and responsibly.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring:

• Items packed inside bins are appropriate for storage and transportation.

• Bins are not overloaded.

• Bins are properly closed and secured.

• Heavy items are distributed safely.

YYC Storage Bins is not responsible for damage to personal belongings placed inside rental bins.

9. Liability Disclaimer

YYC Storage Bins provides reusable moving bins as a convenience to assist customers during moving and organization projects.

Customers are responsible for their own belongings while using rental equipment.

YYC Bin Rentals is not responsible for:

• Damage to personal items stored inside bins

• Loss of personal belongings

• Injuries resulting from improper lifting, moving, or use of equipment

• Delays caused by circumstances outside our control

Customers are responsible for using safe moving practices and seeking assistance when handling heavy items.

10. Cleaning & Sanitation

All rental bins are cleaned and sanitized before each rental.

Customers are not required to clean bins before returning them.

Customers must remove all personal belongings, garbage, food items, and debris before returning rental equipment.

Additional cleaning fees may apply for bins returned with excessive dirt, hazardous materials, or substances requiring special cleaning.

11. Privacy Policy

YYC Storage Bins respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information collected may include:

• Name

• Phone number

• Email address

• Delivery address

• Payment information processed securely through third-party payment providers

Customer information is collected only for purposes including:

• Processing reservations

• Providing rental services

• Communicating regarding bookings

• Improving customer experience

YYC Storage Bins does not sell or share customer information with third parties except when required to provide services, process payments, or comply with legal obligations.

12. Agreement Acceptance

By completing a reservation, making payment, accepting delivery, or using YYC Storage Bins equipment, the Customer confirms that they:

• Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

• Agree to comply with all rental requirements.

• Accept responsibility for rented equipment during the rental period.
